The Coaching Staff
Founder & Head Transition Coach
Born and raised in Arlington, Texas, I’ve been immersed in sports my entire life. In 2010, I officially stepped into the business side of the industry—and I haven’t looked back since. I went from executing routes with precision on the field to designing game plans and calling plays behind the scenes.
Over the years, I watched how athletes were often celebrated while they performed, only to be overlooked once the lights dimmed. The system didn’t sit right with me. So, in 2016, I took action. I founded Transition to W.I.N. with a clear mission: to prepare athletes for what comes next—on their terms.
Since then, I’ve devoted myself to growth, strategy, and building a powerhouse team—while also serving as Assistant Director of Career Management and a Career Specialist at two leading universities. I teach university-level courses on professional development, decision-making, corporate sport sponsorship, and talent management in the sports and entertainment industry.
I also proudly served on the executive board of the National Black Sports Professionals North Texas Chapter (BSPNTX) and have led staff operations for ten consecutive NFL Super Bowls.
I am Destiny Price—coach, strategist, and cultivator of both plants and people. My approach is rooted in challenge and support. Let my team help you get ready for what is next—and win long after the game is over.

Transition Coach
I am originally from Columbus, Ohio; I graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Sport Management, Master of Business Administration, and Master of Sport Administration. My time in Athens, Ohio led me to serve as the first black female General Manager of the Southern Ohio Copperheads Baseball team. During my two years as manager, I acquired skills in revenue generation, developing partnership agreements and selling sponsorships in the local community. Furthermore, I served as the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion chair for Ohio University's Sport Administration Program. Most recently, I worked on the PGA Tour (Fortinet Championship) assisting with client services and hospitality.
Specializing in career management, I have a passion for helping others reach their maximum potential. I have consulted with over 100 clients helping with resume and cover letter creation, interview coaching, as well as helping to secure jobs and internships. With every appointment, it is my goal to instill the confidence of conquering the next step into each individual that crosses my path. Furthermore, I have been in the banking industry for over three years, gaining knowledge on mortgage, auto-loans, and cash management. Taking a 360° approach, I combine my sport, career management, and banking experience to aid others along their personal development journey. The unknown can be quite the mystery but a solid plan can ease the process.
It is my personal mission to enter each day with thanksgiving, securing genuine connections and helping others maximize their potential. I value faith, family, creativity, and health.
I am Kayla Hunter, I make it a habit to keep the creative needs of others top of mind with integrity and grace. My approach to coaching is to observe and empower.

I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. I graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Sport Management. As a person with a heart for all people, I am an advocate for change and actively working to bring more diversity into the sports industry.
